Tips For Getting a Good Stainless Steel Toaster
A toaster is a piece of important electrical appliance in my life. I am a bread person and certainly I cannot get by my morning without having eating warm and crispy bread. Over the years, I have changed several toasters. Some were working great for me, while some went into the garbage bin less than 1 month it was bought. And here I share my advice on how to get a great working toaster.
It has to be a Stainless Steel Toaster Why that material? Read on. A kitchen is a mini war zone with the sharp object and heavy electrical appliances. I have previously bought an “un-melt-able” plastic material toaster. I recalled I was toasting continuously as I had visitors. Some parts of the plastic material melt as a usual. Due to my rough handling, scratches start appearing on the external of the toaster.
With a good stainless steel toaster, none of this will happen. The metallic exterior will provide protection against my rough handling. And no melting will occur at all. I am now using Kalorik 4 slice stainless steel toaster and I can say I am extremely satisfied with it.
Bread’s Slot Width
This is another feature that you need to take note of while buying your new toaster. The width must be able to allow me to insert and hold different types of bread. Although most of the time I am toasting thin, white bread, from time to time, I will toast bagels. And my Kalrorik is able to toast them all.
Toaster Slice Slot Usually I look for 4 slice toaster instead of 8 slice or 2 slice. As I am living alone, most of the time, I do not need to toast that many slices of bread at a single time. Toasting 2 slices of bread seems too slow if I have visitors coming over. Toasting 4 slices of bread at 1 time seems to be the perfect choice for me.
Toasting, Reheating and Defrosting Setting
Make sure your to-be-purchased stainless steel toaster comes with the above functions. It must allow you to set your preferred toasting degree, depending on how crispy you want your bread to be. Occasionally, I might leave the toasted bread alone while I do my task. When they turn cold, I just pop it into the toaster and reheat it. As simple as that.
A defrost function is a need for a toaster as well. From time to time, I buy frozen bread and bagels. And I certainly need the defrost feature.
Design of your stainless steel toasters The design of course have to look artistically nice and have to fit into my kitchen’s decor. A metallic toaster usually has a brushed silver exterior for it to blend into the kitchen’s environment perfectly. Unlike plastic exterior toasters that could some in all shapes and sizes as they can be molded easily.
Follow the above buying tips while buying your stainless steel toaster and I can be sure that you will regret your buying decision.
